Have a question though. Rachel didn't get to it, because who wants to beat up on the poor little rich girl? Meghan had three points.
1) Didn't like the lunatic coultergeist wing of her party.
2) Didn't know anything about Econ, just like dear old dad.
3) Loved the Repugnant Party.
Now, those premises seem to be at war with one another. I mean, if the party were to expunge the knuckle-dragger Neanderthals from the south and plains, they could close up shop tomorrow. All that would be left would be those who don't want to pay taxes to support them minorities, which is Econ 101 for Repugs.
So, what's left to love? Maybe she answers that in her blog.

But I still want to see her slap Ann Coulter, 46.

in all honesty, i am with the "curve" camp... she is more articulate than i expected (*admittedly low expectations*). i don't share her politics but i respect her gumption ...and as for talking about shit she knows nothing of, she's got one up on the fox news network as a whole just for coming clean. i would take somebody speaking honestly about there shortcomings any day over some blow hard faking it for tv.

Maddow expertly gave McCain all the rope she needed to make a complete ass of herself, but sadly one gets the sense that it was because the hostess was enchanted by the idea of the daughter of a Republican presidential candidate saying bad things about other Republicans, rather than the idea of the daughter of a Republican presidential candidate being irretrievably stupid.
2. if the mccain daughter is this ill informed given her advantages and opportunities, what would have become of her if she had been born poor? she wouldn't even be able to work at wal-mart; the other poors would be so much more together

Friend: "Why don't you think that Barrack is doing a good job?"
Me: "I'm concerned that the printing of trillions of dollars will devalue our currency and further weaken the economy. I don't think there was enough stimulus in the "Stimulus Package." I think he should have vetoed the omnibus spending bill for all of the earmarks. Cap and trade, increasing taxes, etc, etc."
Friend: "I don't know much about Economics. What else don't you like?"
Claiming ignorance about what is presently the most important issue for the government is not an endorsement for Obama. I am beginning to thing that the 60% approval rating may have something to do with the lack of education that we have given our populace in the laws of supply and demand.
On the McCain issue, I have no interest in hearing from the children of political candidates regardless of what blog is exploiting their name.

And you are the one who is all unignorant and stuff?
A common technique. I remember a story Harlan Ellison did about speaking before the rubes on Texas A&M back in the sixties. It's a stalking horse, like Hemingway's women. I am ever so well informed and to avoid bragging I merely demonstrate those who ain't.

BooLoo: Are you a beautiful rich Republican girl?

Yeah, how uncouth. It's not like she went onto a public forum to discuss issues she has little knowledge of.
Oh, wait.

Honestly with all the press surrounding Meghan I assumed incorrectly that he was talking about the louder of the two.
