Um...any thoughts on precisely why not? Because YouTube seems pretty bellwether-y to me, regarding online businesses that aspire to mass appeal anyway.

I wish someone would explain to this simpleton how a company that hemorrhages money is/was worth almost $2B. YouTube is brilliant. I love it and its in my ear right now. But it never asks me for money. How can this fantasy be real?
I liked the users rating of goods/services. I'd probably use that in a BBB kind of way.
The data mining makes sense but does that make it hard for new companies with better product to jump in? Stagnation won't happen?
The medical-industrial complex is so much easier to understand. We await the next pandemic/catastrophe and then its biscuits again.

1) Hating myself because I couldn't talk to DOS. I wanted to and tried. But I was dumb. It agreed.
2) Later, Windows 3.1 crashed 14 times every single time I tried to do anything. But it was still like taking my Mom's Buick out by myself. Rainbows.
3) I still used Yahoo as a search engine.
4) AOL was tits.
