    Temporary seriousness: I urge you all to read the indictment of Boyd, et al, to get an idea of how strange and, possibly, weak their case is. I will report more from their first appearance in fed district court on Tuesday.

    Also can she claim entrapment by the way she was arrested?

    @CLY: I'm not sure what the charge would be on the wife. However, law enforcement can use ruses in order to make an arrest in a safe place. The question here is ethics. Should they have used a car wreck involving loved ones as a means to draw her from her house? It seems like at the very least they took it too far.

    Entrapment deals more with tricking someone into committing a crime. The arrest process is a different matter.

    Their ruse to arrest Susan Boyd was completely unnecessary and beyond reprehensible. Seriously, have we become so petrified by the word "terror" in this country that flimsy evidence and despicable arrest tactics like this are ok? Where's the outrage?!?

    @bigazzkid: I am outraged. Look, I never watched a single episode of Britain's Got Talent, but I also don't live under a rock. So, I'm not a fan and I know she wasn't the comeliest girl on TV, but she never came across as dangerous. Even when she had her cursing meltdown she didn't seem like a threat to anyone else. I am glad that she started wearing a scarf over that hair though.

    My family, and many, many families like them, for generations dealt with white terrorists in the South. They killed Medgar Evers, blew up churches, burned crosses and attacked people in their homes.

    @noasalira: I was a bit confused too. I didn't know that if you were white, you'd have to be Muslim to be a called terrorist. So if he wasn't Muslim he'd be part of the happy-go-lucky, all-American, patriotic "militia" and there'd be no story?

    Not to be overlooked is a thriving cottage industry handling personal injury claims arising from workplace shootings, the local pitbull population and gang violence. And, it's one of the few places outside the Middle East that you have such a wide selection of personal protection firms to provide security when conducting witness depostions of individuals banned from government property when not in custody.

    Fayetteville is comprised of Ft. Bragg surrounded by nothing but car dealerships, pawn shops and strip clubs holding hands. One said strip club is located in a mobile home painted pink. I've always wondered how the dancers didn't hit their heads on the ceiling when on stage.

    There are whole law firms which have retired and/or taken their staff on Caribbean cruises paid for by the settlements in the restaurant shooting cases in Fayetteville. I hear they issue Kevlar at the city limits.
