Attention 'West Wing' Fans
One of, if not the best episode in that fine series is "In the Shadow of Two Gunmen, Part I," in which President Bartlet is wounded in an assassination attempt. It's on Bravo Friday at 9 a.m. eastern. Part II runs Monday at 8 a.m. All well and good.
But am I the only one who is surprised at the timing? After all, these repeats -- in which a Kennedyesque president, played by an actor with a long history playing Kennedys, is shot -- fall on those weekdays closest to the 46th anniversary of Dallas.
Or is that just good marketing?
Seeing that deer there made me realize how awesome it would be if the front lawn of the White House looked like the one from Pee-Wee Herman's Big Adventure.
