    I have become one of those people I hate who gets pissed when everyone else discovers his favourite band. But I swear my cause is just. Phoenix do better live shows than any band I've ever seen. But now the venues are getting larger and shittier, there are more loud, drunk teenagers at them, and I am getting grumpy about it.

    Yes, I feel like one of those people who bitches about how the Kings of Leon have sold out, even though they were never that good and just had longer hair. But Phoenix really ARE that good, and their hair has stayed the SAME.

    I'm different, you see?

    @Nasdaf: Wrong. "Gawker" has known about Phoenix "forever" and saw them before "Too Young" was on "The OC" but decided to highlight this video because it is awesome.

    Fun fact: Phoenix was a legendary Romanian rock-band of the '60s and early '70s. They went for a Led Zeppelin-vibe but incorporated traditional folkloric themes in their songs. They got mega-popular, enough for the Commies to ban them. Predictably, they were not savvy enough to trademark their name/identity, hence the French "Phoenix" that we're talking about today..
