    Here's my Makeover:

    (1) Darken Hair, think warm autumnal gold/brown

    (2) Wear same dress but with opaqua brown tights and knee boots. NOT SPARKLEY PANTY HOSE.....Oh Emily! How could you wear those hose?

    I think there are elements to the dress that are quite pretty. It's just a little too much of a number of things.

    Also, Emily- I know you are reading this- the hair has got to go. Think darker or more auburn. Something.

    @SisterMaryMartha: i agree about the hair. I read somewhere that she goes only to Kenneth. That must be stopped; it is why she has that fluffy monotone cotton-candy upswept hair. Emily! Go to Frederic Fekkai or Louis Licari! They can do a more modern cut and keep you a blonde but make it look more elegant and modern. You need bangs. They would look cute.

    She is criminally uninteresting as a character, but her fashion sense (including hair) is almost fascinating. You always wondered if there was a species of woman who appropriates her wealthy grandmother's look.


    Turns out, there is. Unfortunately, it just isn't that interesting.

    Ouch. I like what I wore New Year's Eve but I try to keep my Facebook settings private. So I think the reason you've got a not-so-great picture (not even from my camera) is because my buddy Hamilton had to unearth this gem from god knows where. But I'd still rather run the risk of unflattering pictures than endanger the privacy of family and friends. Or worse yet, start submitting pictures of myself.

    fashion sense like that is innate, not learned. plus, it doubles as camouflage should you need to make a speedy escape.
