    The part I find amazing is that if he suspected MJ could have had a bad reaction to demerol he should have had Narcan on hand. If he gave him a Demerol shot and MJ went into cardiac arrest, he should have called 911 immediately because paramedics carry Narcan with them


    By futzing around with lidocaine and half-assed CPR he might have actually missed the opportunity to save MJ's life.


    And I looked him up. He is licensed to practice in California apparently through reciprocity since his address is still listed in Vegas.


    And, yes, I would also like to know where to get a daily demerol shot. I have trouble refilled my scrip for vicodin.

    @Tart of Darkness: Absolutely, he should have had Narcan and/or adrenalin. But the only sure fire way to revive him would have been a defibrillator.

    the Associated Press is reporting the singer suffered a heart attack (not just cardiac arrest).


    Kind of an odd word choice. Cardiac arrest is far more dangerous than a heart attack.


    But I know what you meant - it's obviously significant if he had some underlying problem.

    To those suggesting pissing in bottles, a horrible true tale: years ago I was attending a university in the Deep South (lasted only one year before high-tailing it back to the Midwest) and my brother and his friend decided to drive me back after spring break so they could check out the Joe Namath stuff there, among other things. During this multi-hour event, my brother drank an entire 2-litre bottle of Dr. Pepper. The result is obvious. His solution was simply to "re-fill" the 2-litre bottle. By the time we arrived at our destination (he had refused to get rid of it during and I would not touch it), we had a 2-litre bottle of warm piss rolling around the car. Not only did it look and smell disgusting, I was trapped in a small car with my brother -- my brother, for crying out loud -- peeing in a bottle! All I ask is that if you're going to do this, gentlemen, please don't do it in my company.
