    Now so you can get a real sense of how many barrels 20 million is, let's count them together. 1...2...3...4...5...
    Three hours later-

    1,000,345...1,000,346...1,000,347

    The real hilarity here is that the Oil Barrel in the clip art is already fucking scored into thirds and she draws a line over one of the score marks and says "one fifth.."

    Fractions + Fox + Tart = Laffs.

    You know who else is good with this stuff? Meteorologists. Solution: have weatherpeople do the news. Might as well, since there's no actual journalism going on at Fox.

    @Aaron Altman:

    If there was ever a channel that could be improved by having an impossibly tanned man drone on about how nice San Diego is, it's Fox News.

    We're in a recession, right? How can we afford these retarded extravagant things? The jobless rate is nearly 10% and Fox News has the money to pay some bimbo to wave clip art around a screen? Wow.

    @Thatcornellguy: On the contrary, it's a brilliant rejection of Keynesian economics and mirrors Fox's support of laissez-faire economics. They realize that, according to Say's Law, increased supply of magic screens will lead to increased demand of magic screens, and through this demand for magic screens, our economy will recover from recession and a permanent free-market utopia will be created.

    Or they realized that they need more shiny things to compete with CNN's shiny things.

    Well, lets not forget that the government also still thinks that it's necessary to fly Air Force One over NYC if you want a photo of Air Force One flying over NYC.

    She should have illustrated how many zeros the number twenty million contains.

    Fox doesn't need this technology to satisfy viewers, really. I say ditch the magic screen and have the on-air talent wear Ronald Reagan masks. The studio should be lit with fireworks and the telecast occasionally interrupted to show still photos of elderly women holding freshly baked pies. The anchors should be draped in American flags, flags that can later be used to gently blot the tears caused by this great nation charging a corporate tax.

    The real impact of this technology hit home when five seconds later she speculated that her ability to enlarge prepackaged salads with her bare hands could solve the hunger problem in that Africa country.

    I remember knowing things about some counties in Pennsylvania that I never expected to know. It's good technology when, obviously, used properly.
