    @daveyjonesisdead: Probably the cost of publishing outweighed the benefits. Billboard is the victim of a dying music business, and THR and the Adweek books have always been a secondary ad buy in their fields, and secondary buys get cut in tough times. A shame, because the Adweek books used to be and in many ways still are editorially excellent. Billboard, except for the late Tim White's stuff, was always just about the charts. Good luck to my friends at 770 Broadway and in the regional offices. #hollywoodreporter

    Does it matter what subliminal messages V is sending out, when the overwhelming impression is one of overwhelming crap? The cast tries their best, but this latest version makes the 80s model look like Masterpiece Theatre. #v

    Glenn Garvin, just to give some subtext, is a libertarian nutbag.

    He recently started writing some wingnut political column every other week for his home paper, The Miami Herald (remember when major newspapers used to have their own TV reviewers?), which has apparently emboldened him to insert more political subtext into his boob tube reviews. #lizardpeople
