MM totes muggled down. Big deal, so did everyone in Hollywood that liked to have fun. She also slept with women and lifted weights and read Stanislavsky and pulled pranks. She wrapped her mouth around it because that's how MM did everything--with all her heart.
How much will the owner charge me for that screen cap of MM taking a drag? I need this for my holiday card this year.
Related: They had "video" in the late 50s/early 60s? This must have been shot on 8mm or 16mm and then transferred if it is on video, right? If so, it's owner may have been aware she had it for longer than she's lettin' on.
@PaisleyPajamas: Transferring film to video is not new technology. If you had a film that you knew was going to make national news and potentially be worth a lot of money, I think you'd have very little trouble finding somebody to transfer it for you or the approximately eight bucks it costs to do it. The hardest part would be coming up with a contract they'd be willing to sign so they wouldn't steal the footage from you.
On the other hand, this doesn't look like a person who's smoking pot. My bet is that's just regular tobacco.
@badasscat: You've misunderstood me. The gist of the blog post was that the owner of the film was offering it up to auction and that her timing seemed much less the opportunistic leech that MM was plagued with throughout her life (and especially after death). My point was that if indeed this is video, rather than the original film stock it was shot on, the transfer could have happened as much as 20 years ago and the owner has known she's had it for some time. In my eyes that makes her even less opportunistic.

Well, Sharon, I guess I'd rather look like one than, you know, be one. All the way from your crude mouth to your mushy mean brain and through to your plastic soul. #susanboyle
So I saw the headline and skimmed the post a bit, absorbing "Susan Boyle." Then I looked down at the video box and before I clicked on it, just going on the still, I thought I was going to be watching a video of Susan Boyle. #susanboyle
When you've had everything cut, nipped, tucked, pulled, tightened, dyed, diced and sliced I don't think you should comment on the beauty of others. #susanboyle
