That article was the best thing ever written on this earth, EVER. One small problem though: the columns should be called REFLECTIONS OF THE FIDEL. Just so we're clear. Also, I want a humorous point/counterpoint thing going on with a column on the opposite page called REFLECTIONS OF THE INFIDEL with just some stuff about Islam and so on. These aren't facts as far as we know. Fired dude says:

"Obama appointed Rahm Emanuel as his chief of staff, a U.S. citizen who during the 1991 Gulf War left America to serve in Israel's military."

Unless he's privy to the secret IDF Rahm file and knows the "truth" this ex-fellow is just wrong. He went to clean tank treads for a couple of days at most as part of a get-involved-with-israel program. Or so the story goes.

@Uncle_Billy_Slumming: Only, no one fired for him for being (or suggested he was) incorrect, they fired him for his candid professional assessment, which offended donors to the organization who demanded that he be fired or they would withdraw their funding.

But what's really delightfully amusing is that you would suggest a sophisticated armed forces, on active alert, lets just any ol' Joe "volunteer" near their tanks.

As if you can just show up at Fort Dix, tell them you have community service hours to fulfill, and be taken to the heavily armored and armed attack vehicles.

Or so the story goes indeed...

It's not that loopy if you've studied Kant and then German idealism leading up to Marx. Like Castro, I'm always reminded of Immanuel Kant whenever I hear Rahm's last name. He could use a proofreader though, he misspelled J. K. Galbraith's surname ("Galbraight??" WTF?).
