    Saw Wallace Shawn (of Princess Bride and Gossip Girl fame) out side the Apple store on 9th and 14th around 4 p.m. on October 20th. He was walking with an older woman, laughing and smiling at folks. Adorable.

    Seeing her name rendered a cutesy portemanteau in the Post as "LilyBart," Serena's mother realizes that her career as a serial wife has left her spiritually dead. After attempting to regain a sense of purpose - as well as an accepted place in the ton following the revelation of her efforts to bribe the jury in the Jarndyce and Jarndyce case her contesting owevership of a Murakami canvas - by working as Blair's social secretary, she succumbs to her chloral hydrate-laced Smart Water (TM) addiction and is found on a catafalque in front of the MOMA.

Before taking his final leave of them all to join Dan at the Lunch Table of Eternal Solitude, Blair kisses his lips once, creates a shrine made of scarves outside Tory Burch, lightly tosses her blood red clutch aside, and throws herself under the F train.

    I don't understand why Anderson won't come out of the closet as a uber-power bottom when he is already willing to prattle on Regis and Kelly and CNN and these other shows about his love of Real Housewives and La Vida Lohan and on and on.


    Gay guys hate him because his closeted approach to his celebrity is so retro.


    But the real indictment is what a terrible job he did anchoring CNN in this election cycle. There was absolutely no insight or spontaniety to his reporting. He is simply appalling compared to Maddow or Brown his female counterparts.

    @Elizabeth Bathory was Framed!!!: Retro? There are still very few out male celebrities. Anderson spending his career in the "glass closet" without lying and bearding like so many of them still do is actually somewhat progressive, especially for an older generation guy like him.


    Regarding reporting, Anderson has a different philosophy than the other two you named. He's one of the few cable news anchors who's actually a journalist instead of a commenter and editorialist like Maddow, Olbermann, O'Reilly, Dobbs, and the rest of them.
