Which is it?
If it's collective punishment then just go ahead, full steam and do what you feel you must do. But, please, for fuck's sake, stop with the rationalizing and full-scale defensiveness anytime these actions start and well intentioned people with plenty on their minds quite apart from your shared little slice of hell go, "ew."
I mean, we'd like to jump right into your pity party with you, sure, but we've kind of got a lot going on over here with our two wars and economic meltdown and the occasional natural disaster to contend with. And, well, we have always been kind of nervous about you moving to the neighborhood where all the neighbors hate you, especially since we've got a big welcome mat immigration policy for you (which isn't really true for anyone else but the Brits).
So stop trying to convince me. Do what you've got to do, but at least have the sack to realize that maybe it's time you stopped doing it on someone else's dime and paid for that shit yourself. Can't afford it? Guess what? Neither can we.

The law actually says that civilians aiding terrorists to attack from civilian targets are to be considered terrorists. That's a fairly recent law, dating back to when Hamas first started shooting rockets at them from civilian locations. If we were to cut off funding to Israel, they would be at much higher risk of destruction; we fund them because it helps prevents another mass murder of the Jewish people.

1) Drop the Israelis off somewhere else too.
2) Level *all* of Israel, Gaza, and West Bank and create a new international zone with lots of museums and monuments and photos of dead babies.

When two dogs fight to the death every time they get near each other, you pick them up by the scruff of the neck and physically separate them. The country that never was -- filistin -- and the country that could have done much better -- Israel -- they can both live on the internet.
