Dude, Hamilton: Lazard is doing amazing, on the industry-relative scale. To use a rich-guy sailing analogy, Lazard is way out to the left of the finish line, but its sails are mighty tight.

I must say they've done a very good job making their online site engaging and dynamically updated. It's become a daily destination for me. And no offense to the fine recaps here, but their Tuesday Gossip Girl Reality Index is funny and exhaustive.

@BookishLookish: I saw her read the Elvis essay at Happy Ending once and thought she was fairly entertaining. She definitely has some Bacall swagger to her, which is amusing. And she wore that big poofy hat to cover her face the whole time.

Btw, the essay says she couldn't remember the Elvis sex but her facial expression said "not so good." Love me not so tender?

Wow, that cover model looks a lot like Claire Danes before karma face got to her. She was so awesome in my so called life. I didn't think I'd ever get over Jordan Catalano, but then Jared Leto started wearing all that eyeliner. It is too bad that Jared Leto is such an asshat. I've never read New York magazine. This comment is either going to go over really well or really terribly.

@jfk1624: No, she does look...different. When she was on MSCL and I was in high school several people told me I looked like her. I still look the same (well, mostly) but there's no resemblance whatsoever anymore.
