    @CaptainFantastic: I've always really disliked that type of comment, which comes off as a jealous put down. Really, what *should* we all be spending our time on? Does it really matter if it's costuming, surfing, reading, playing an instrument, watching movies, watching sports, playing sports, building stuff, making art? After the bottom half of Maslow's triangle of needs are met, all bets off for what constitutes "peak experiences" per the individual ...

    @cellardoor: @Proofer3: You are both reading too far into my comment. I like the costume and wish I had the time to put something like that together. The bottom half of Maslow's triangle consumes all but about an hour of my day.

    Anyway, as long as there are 14 CHILDREN in this story, I think it is NEWS, and it needs to stay in the news, in part so that this madness stops and in part that these children are properly taken care of.
