I'd hate to be stalkerish towards Franco i.e.- any girl who's currently a student at Columbia/Barnard, but I'd totally have a love scene with Franco rewritten if I had the pull. Shit, I'd make the movie, like, Last Tango In Paris intense.

Great, Chris. Who the fuck sells out their parents? I hope your new friends get a big laugh out of all these private revelations.

@Beausoleil: Nobody pimps out their dead parents like the Big Whites. And hey, he's got to pay for the upbringing and education of his non-recognized son, too.

@BookishLatkeish: That (paying for the kid he fathered outside of his marriage and is now ignoring) is why he stepped down from writing for National Review. He still has an ownership stake in the magazine, and probably feared that if he didn't immediately get out of the spotlight that they'd lose many subscribers and he'd lose a lot of money.

As I remember, he was initially outed as an adulterer back in 1998 or so, around the time Clinton was under fire for sticking the cigar in Monica.

Am I the only one who really, really doesn't get the A-Rod/Madonna thing? I mean, he's young and while I think he's gross I can see where many, many women would think he's hot. Whereas Madonna peaked 15 years ago and is now weirdly stringily muscley with absolutely nothing soft or feminine about her anymore. She should be with someone else old and past their prime -- Harrison Ford, maybe.

I dunno, I guess to each his own, but I just can't wrap my brain around this.

@SaraRueful: When I was growing up I thought Madonna was hot, now she just seems like the kind of old rich lady that would aggressively grab the pool boy's balls while she sips her martini.

@SaraRueful: They're a very mis-matched couple to me, too. It almost causes me to wonder if they really are a couple or if this is a publicity stunt. Only, I can't quite figure out what this does to bolster his career.

@SaraRueful: For all his prodigious talent and success, Alex Rodriguez always struck me as incredibly insecure and self-conscious. He needs validation and he needs to prove to himself and the world that he's really made it. Madonna, on the other hand, is trying not to be an irrelevant has-been. I think in this case, they're trophies for each other. [/armchair psychoanalysis]

A note to all directors out there: If cast, I too would like to go full homo, with James Franco, as often as possible. Thank you.

Evidently Brittany didn't just lip-synch, she pretended to MIME! I'd be upset too if I had to watch her don white face paint and pretend she has trapped in a glass box.

I love Britney, but I could honestly give a shit whether she lip syncs or not. All I care about is that she looks hot, dances well and creates lyrics that bore into my libido.

She lips syncs in her videos too - but I'm still happy to watch her in a red skintight catsuit singing "I'm not that innocent" time and time again.

I mean, seriously, do straight women or gay men care if Ricky Martin lip syncs?

Does it matter if Wentworth Miller can really break out of prison or if Jack Bauer can stop Albanian terrorists?

Entertainment is about good looking illusions.

And, there's nothing wrong with that.

@oyvehisyou: Good for Sean.Lots of straight actors play gay with a tiny smooch and call it a day. Why not praise him for playing the role of a very brave, sexual and out-there gay with boldness? Plus, I get to see more guy on guy stuff on screen.
