    I'm glad that at least some people here (i.e. Brian, for one) are intuitive enough to know that the Twitter account is a fake.

    There was a post on it about a month ago that reported it as authentic -- an assertion that I refuted in the comments -- and I was (irrationally) peeved that a correction was never issued.

    He totally could have gone on Conan, read the tweets, and played it off as a joke. Just read them with a hunky smile, then as they're fading to commercial, mouth "I didn't write those."     Hmmm. Is that a tongueI see in Gawker's cheek, or do they honestly not know that Jenny Lawson is one of the funniest, most gifted writers in the blogosphere? The yawning gap between Jenny the Bloggess and actualy psychopaths on Twitter (oh yeah -- we got 'em) is just about as big as Gawker's lack of awareness of top humor bloggers/sense of humor.

    I'm actually a little honored to be called a psycho by Gawker. I usually get "harmless lunatic". "Psycho" sounds much more dangerous and kind of respectable.

    Do you know what the definition of a psycho is? For an actual psychopath try more along the lines of Dick Cheney. A person who lacks genuine human emotion. One who has no empathy or conscience. Devoid of any recognizable moral or ethical standard. No that was not a joke. Though what is fairly obvious those posts were clearly coming from someone most likely actually making a joke. If not, they are at worst garden variety eccentric crazy. A psycho is a very different beast indeed. One that in fact people on a whole, really, really need to start paying attention to. As they apparently infest many positions of actual power in this country and world. I know you were trying for clever. You missed.
