    As I said over on Jezzie: I have read and reviewed all three of Alex Greven's books, and they are pure shit: sexist, smirky claptrap marketed as "cute" and "folksy." Smugness is not adorable no matter what age the peddler.

    I hate clever, precocious kids. Despise 'em. There's always some pain in the ass parent right behind them, doing the false modesty thing. One brilliant little shit I am cursed to know trashed a room at a house he was visiting. Instead of being told to clean his damn mess up, the parents let him write a poem of apology, some puke with the meter all wrong. Everyone went, "Awww" but the room stayed trashed.


    High school is the great equalizer for those little twerps. You're day is coming, Master Greven.
