This just in - people who like to be on "reality" shows are odd.

Meanwhile, I hear the "news" networks interrupted coverage of Obama's Louisiana trip for this. (Remember Obama? Remember NOLA?)

Hmmm, maybe more people in this country would understand the real news if we presented it like a "reality" show. News about the economy could be slipped into a show called American Idle. Then you could have Survivor: American Healthcare. Or C-Span's I'm a Senator - Get Me Out of Here ... #4chan

Did we figure out if he's the same Richard Heene who lived about 13 miles from CIA headquarters in mid 90's?

Is he related to the guy who runs AdPay.com? If so, are they in cahoots?

Was this just a test to study how information about events flow through the networks?

Or is it part of a larger campaign to demoralize the country by messing violently with its trust?

@Uncle_Billy_Slumming: When I was in the 3rd grade -- this is maybe 1991 -- my class took part in an Earth Day project to mass-release all of these helium-filled balloons, bearing letters of goodwill for the planet tied to strings, sending them across the Atlantic, presumably to foreign lands and peoples. Some weeks laters, I was sitting in the living room while my mother watches her local TV news program. Report comes up, detailing an unfortunate event at sea, whereby a mass of balloons released from an unknown location resulted in the mass killing of a pod of dolphins. Way to riddle a nine year old with anxiety, cruel world. An evil plot by the Balloon Council to destabilize the emotional states of children the world over, no doubt (linked to the Elders of Zion?).
