    I have many memories of the show. Like the time Sammy Davis Jr. showed up a little high. How about the night D.L. Hughley told us that the King was in fact gone. I'll miss you D.L. Hughley!

    The show sucked. Hugly was uninformed and inarticulate. I got nothing against the guy but he appeared rather inarticulate.


    On a related note, I was watching Hardball the other night (yes, pathetic, I know) and Chris Mathews actually pronounced his name, "HUG --- Lee" Oh my god. Hilarious.

    @MeaniePants: As a matter of fact, as a fan of Real Time With Bill Maher I can state matter-of-factly that D.L. was a brilliant guest on his show a multitude of times. He could be counted on for the the slamdunk quips. He just seemed out of his element hosting on his own show. I think if CNN weren't cutting costs and had given him more time to groom himself as a host, he would have really taken it somewhere.


    AND HE'S A HELLUVA LOT MORE COHERENT THAN EFFING LARRY KING...SHEESH!

    Having never watched a minute of this alleged program, I feel comfortable expressing a fully-fledged opinion. The only thing I remember at all about Hughley is him saying that he didn't "condone the gay lifestyle" when interviewing Dan Savage about Prop 8. To that, I say, "DL — I do not condone your program."

    between this, the cop who shot the "protester" on the MRT in San Francisco, the cops who assaulted and arrested the 12 year old 'prostitute', the cops who strip searched the woman who rang 911 to make an assault complaint and was 'accidentally' mistaken as the assailant....


    is there anywhere in the country where I shouldn't be scared to freaking death of the police force??
