    Slightly OT but I'm really frustrated by the seemingly absence of the proper usage of commas in marketed English today. You're welcome, America. A comma, people. Let's not let the terrorists win.


    This peeve of mine also makes me go into daily convulsions every morning when I see that whole-car ad for that "Make them laugh" series. Seriously? A whole car-full of "thank you's" and not one friggin comma? What have we become as a people?

    I just want to know how many minutes in does he take off his shirt and/or pants? It's almost like when Gallagher would put a Watermelon on the chopping board. You knew what was coming, but powerless to stop it. And there's always that woman who could never get her tarp above her head...I'm thinking live action full-frontal Ferrell nipples could be worse.

    @Beausoleil: I wouldn't call letting a wildly off-course, clearly hijacked commercial airliner fly around FOR OVER AN HOUR and THEN hit the Pentagon "keeping us safe."


    I mean, come on... are you kidding me?


    The Pentagon?! Couldn't even secure The Pentagon! Over an hour after commercial airliners are freestyling around the country AND at least 40 minutes after the first WTC was hit?


    How do you fuck up worse than that?


    What have we been spending all that money on defense for? Updating systems every year, like total military dominance expires like water filters...


    After the first WTC bombing, in '93, Clinton, asshole though he is, "kept us safe" without a dam-burst of bloodshed, torture, wasted trillions, and a great depression.


    Please, please... try to think before... oh, never mind. Clearly too much to ask.

    @DaveCrabtree: I thought the same before I actually saw it, but WF was funny and post-office bush is slightly different than in-office bush so it feels fresh. not right out the shower fresh but maybe I showered last night fresh. fresh enough? fresh. just saying it makes me feel clean.
