    We'll have to choose a stimulus mechanism very carefully. Keep in mind that the Japanese did this for years, constructing bridge after bridge to nowhere. All the public works projects in the world will be useless if they fail to foster long-term economic growth - which is why the focus of his first four years needs to be on infrastructure, mass transit, and domestic energy production.
