John Oliver has covered some pretty serious issues on Last Week Tonight—the situation in Ferguson, the security of the U.S. nuclear arsenal—but with his show on a break for Labor Day weekend, he addressed the least important topic of our time: YouTube comments.

It's not often that I post two videos from the same series, but, then again, it's not often that not posting a video could be considered a crime against humanity.

YouTube comments are known the Internet over as some of the most petty, petulant, and just plain vile exchanges between ostensible humans.
