A tipster says the co-founder of Yahoo's Web 2.0 property Flickr (pictured here needing someone to lean on) has a reputation as "too cool to profit."

In the Yahoo search marketing group biz division, "Stewart Butterfield" is an acceptable synonym for something that doesn't make money or actively tries not to make money. I feel like "Stewart Butterfield" could also acceptably be a codename for Canadian military might.

Poor Stewart! It's not like he's the only one running a cool-looking money-loser. Yahoos should think up a whole vocabulary — money-losers are to the Valley as types of snow are to Eskimos.
