Mother Also Researched Children Dying in Hot Cars Before Son's Death

Search warrants show that Leanna Harris, mother of a 22-month-old boy who died after his father left him alone in a car for seven hours, admitted to researching children dying in hot cars before her son's death. Justin Ross Harris, the father, also allegedly looked into the phenomenon.

Justin Harris was charged with murder and cruelty to children hours after his son Cooper died. He claims that he forgot to take Cooper to an on-site daycare center while working at Home Depot. During his lunch, Harris brought something to the car, but apparently remained oblivious to his son's presence.

Police said there were inconsistencies in that story from the beginning, and the couple's internet research further casts it into doubt. Leanna Harris has not been identified as a suspect in the case.
