Ferguson police named officer Darren Wilson as Michael Brown's killer this morning, but if they hadn't it wouldn't have stayed a secret for much longer: At a press conference yesterday afternoon, multiple reporters directly asked police chief Thomas Jackson if Wilson was the cop who took Brown's life.
You can see video of the press conference above. It took place yesterday afternoon, though this footage comes from a segment of The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell in which O'Donnell speculates that Wilson is the killer based Jackson's reaction. That reaction includes Jackson stammering and swallowing, like pretty much any person caught in a lie.
This moment of Jackson's press conference was noticed by a number of people on Twitter:
Police Chief seemed STUNNED about the name Darren Wilson as the cop. That might be the correct guy.
