I've been tempted to throw our cat outside in the snow to see what he does, but he is entirely an indoor cat, and "I accidentally lost the cat during an icy death snow vortex" isn't a conversation I want to have with my housemate. But I'd like to think it would go something like this.
At least some good came from Tuesday's snowstorm in the Southeast: Sophie, a cat in Alabama, was able to play in snow for the first time.
From the looks of it, the snow confused and frightened Sophie at first, though eventually she sort of starts to enjoy it.
