The US Department of Labor defines work that warrants hazard pay as "duty that causes extreme physical discomfort and distress which is not adequately alleviated by protective devices."
That flimsy drive-thru window is clearly not adequately alleviating the physical discomfort and distress caused by customers who flip out over a cheeseburger.
