It is good to hear that this dinner club does not feign androgyny. So what is our Josh trying to tell us: a) Whisk and Ladle's indeterminate gender is genuine, no pose, or b) the place is so overwhelmingly masculine (or feminine?) that one could never mistake it for a restaurant of the other sex?

Don't get La Cieca wrong: she thinks Josh is just about the cutest thing she's seen since this guy. But maybe he could stop trying quite so hard with the big words?
