@OneHundredServed: This paper was once great. Just hope they can give it the room it needs to be a great alt-weekly, not a community paper. Our Town downtown was slowly becoming something of a hybrid. Perhaps that's what this paper needs to be in order to compete.

@gilligan: I was on a break after starting/printing a indie gonzo newspaper in Latin American, which was better than any grad school education, and have been pondering this for awhile here. I mean shit, I made fun of Presidents, the Pope and the soccer teams and got out alive, how hard can it be here?

The Village Voice is dying because they run national syndication from New Times, the Press is finally being put down, everyone else feel into the glossy trap, the perfect storm.

Maybe its time to sell the tourism magazines and go back to gonzo indie weeklies, what I really know. Of course, that would require several nests of golden eggs and sales managers with real rolodexes.

I hope to be ridiculing my own publication on Gawker soon.
