Novice weekend editor at controversial blog finds himself balls deep in a noir nightmare. The cast of characters might be called Agatha Christie on acid -- characters based on Julia Allison, Furious George, and Rachel Marsden are only the beginning. You must have all three, especially the latter. You also need a smartlass old fart with a tweed sports jacket and a pipe who's killed off in the third chapter. I can handle that role. Now, that part of the plot is too simple. YOu need another layer centered around the nature of commenting. Why are we here? Why are we so angry? And you might consider a third layer of plot, the Matrix layer. Does this whole thing actually exist? And of course there is Gawker management to consider. Denton and Richard deserve their own characters. And while you're at it you can bring in Soho and even drift over to a Heath Ledger subplot.
