Anyone here ever watch Staten Island public access TV? Back when I lived there in '06, they would have show locals' artwork while music played in the background. One time I turned on the TV and there, juxtaposed with Chic's "Good Times," was a series of realistic, "Raising The Flag On Iwo Jima"-esque paintings of the ruins of the World Trade Center. Either it was a terrible mistake, or a really fantastic commentary on Staten Island's especially morbid obsession with 9/11.

The first piece was a rocking, balls-out celebration of smoothness. The piece that plays during the 9/11 shot is a dark meditation on sad smoothness.

That's not exactly smooth jazz. It's like that canned filler music you get in low budget health education videos you're forced to watch in the free clinic while you're waiting to take your STD test or something with a talking animation of a Herpes Virus giving you the stats.

That, and the editor just made it through the entire "Powerpoint for Dummies" book.

So this is a case of some cubicle junkie gone crazy using company time and resources making retarded films on his PC rather than complete the TP Report.

Look forward to hearing of his workplace shooting spree while wearing his tie around his forehead like Rambo.
