For such a fashion-driven show, it seems tres Pas à to merely air on a network owned by the same parent company as Lifetime, but to be associated with it directly?

And then lose Nina? And, by extension, Elle Magazine? Check, please.

In the name of Lagerfeld, why God, WHY?!

Was it that Miramax was blinded by dollar signs when Lifetime offered them more money than Bravo? Did they fail to consider the negative impact Lifetime's cat-lady image would have on the Project Runway brand?

Funny, I always thought the Weiny boys were good businessmen. Of course, they aren't exactly well-groomed when stylists aren't present...

Noooooo! Hearing Heidi Klum say "Nina Garcia, Fashion Editor of Elle Magazine" in her Teutonic Valley Girl accent was often a highlight of my week!

But, moving to Lifetime, they should probably be in talks with someone from the Ladies' Home Journal or Self, anyway. Sigh.

@Rumpelstilskin: If they get rid of Tim, they might as well shut up shop. I agree with you about Heidi - I'd be happy to see her go. I remember ( I think in season one) they were designing wedding dresses for the models and one of the designers said "Just tell them the fabric was really expensive". Cue numerous judging sessions when that was Heidi's main comment.I also feel she has a rather superior attitude - and let's face it, she was never known as a high fashion model. Still love Kors and Gunn.

Oh no! Not my Nina, she-who-must-be-obeyed. She was the perfect antidote to gushing, no-accounting-for-taste Michael Kors. Me have sad face now. I want all my friends to stay together. This must mean Tim is expendable. Heidi would be the first person I replaced (no, not Janice Dickinson to replace her, thank you very much. Maybe Linda Evangelista is still nurturing her inner bitch. I completely agree with you about Nina bringing the Elle feature prize connection.
However, I think she's got a lot of fans, so hopefully she'll be in some new fabulous job by the time of the new season and still a judge.
Sadly though, as the Weinsteins have already dumped Bravo, I'm sure they wouldn't think twice about making poor Nina walk the plank.

@SSteele: It would be kind of like when Joel Schumacher took over the Batman franchise and all of a sudden everyone was making loud noises and flaunting their no-no places.

But seriously, half of what Nina Garcia brings to the table (at least from the Producers' point of view) is the feature spread in Elle for the winner. Will they maintain their relationship with the magazine, or will Nina have to be replaced with her...er, replacement?
