Because I'm sick of "fashion magazines" gettin dismissed and shit by (male) editors, I checked this out. The end of the article spotlights a juror who "hopes" McDavid gets a "new trial": "I'm not happy with the one he got" and the quote that "these were kids wqho just got carried away...at least someone cares about our planet and our world." She also calls the FBI an "embarrassment". There is an interview with said ringleader and also said ring leader's attorney who says if this story teaches us anything it's that "the government says whatever the fuck it wants." The sentence referred to in the story is from the lede--which is, the story states , Anna's "version" of the incident, McDavid denies the conversation ever took place. It calls this one of her "spy tales".
How this is all sympathetic to the government in the story isn't quite clear to me, but, oh day ediotr, before you get all dismissive and shit, you really ought to read the entire story before you do dismiss it--even if it is just in a "fashion magazine".
