I totally saw this in previews at a regional theater before it went to Broadway. I nicknamed it "Trite: The Musical". I felt like a complete bitch for hating this show since it was written by a bunch of 23-year-olds, but honestly, it was just weak. I could not BELIEVE when it got transferred to Broadway. Now that all of New York agrees with me, I feel rather validated.

God, it's so super sad when a big Broadway show closes. I don't know why it's so sad. But it's like, so many people with all those, like, superbig theater hopes and dreams (I swear, people still have those!), all going along with the charade that this show was good, THIS show was different. Seriously. It makes me sad...AND THEN I GO FUCKIN' WATCH IRON MAN AND THAT SHIT ROCKS MY FUCKIN' SOCKS OFF, FUCK!

The best part about last night's performance was when that tap-dancer jumped off the balcony and gave the cast the ole sandmand sweep to end the show.
