@blogissuchanuglyword: @SarahHeartburn: From my limited experience, bathroom bouncers seem to exist to make sure that celebs have access before anyone else. To be fair to the dudes I've encountered working that position, they always feel REALLY BAD when some twit comes charging to the front and is prepared to make a federal case if she isn't admitted pronto, recognizable celeb or otherwise. I actually had one say, "I'm so sorry" cuz I had just been a lady and allowed a girl with a nosebleed to jump in before that. I didn't mind overly much, since my chief aim when going out in NYC is to stand in line for the bathroom. At least I think that's what it is. It certainly is where I spend a lot of time, on those outings. Why would I continue to do it if I didn't love it!

And at one point while the cops were still there, two girls tried going into the bathroom together (as per usual), and the bouncer wouldn't let them, they got into an argument, admitted they didn't actually have to "use the bathroom", so he just told them to move on.

there are bouncers for the bathroom also? wow, that is exclusive.
