It's about lumping all "mannish" women together, and assuming that any woman who likes a particular masculine woman obviously should just go for a man. Gender is way more complicated than that, as is sexual preference. A masculine woman does NOT equal a man. She's still a WOMAN, just not the kind that maybe you find attractive.
