During the first episode of this new Project Runway, if the contestants aren't suddenly stricken with a rare female reproductive cancer, or if a crazed ex-boyfriend/husband doesn't try to kill them, or if their hearts aren't crushed by some fly-by-night foreign adoption agency, then the show can't possibly win over the Lifetime demographic.
