She's tough, but she works hard, and she doesn't complain any more than anyone else on the show -- least of all Dale, her sole detractor, who bitches INCESSANTLY about everything that doesn't go immediately his way. She also had a point that the last time she dug her heels in and got cranky with him, she led their team to victory.

Also, Dale is a narcissistic prick. He's lucky he took on so much work because his effort (failing though it may have been) was the only thing that saved him.

How Nikki survived as long as she did is a testament to the other mediocre chefs this season. I haven't watched this episode yet but at the end of every other one, I alwasy shake my head wondering how she didn't get asked. You can only pull the grandmothers lasagna schtick so many times.

Do they have some sort of lesbian affirmative action program this season?
