Dumbass. A protestor outside the Apple Store in Midtown Manhattan interrupted an interview by a Fox News reporter with Steven Levy, Newsweek's Apple-loving tech columnist. Here, a screenshot of the moment when Levy, one of only four reviewers to get an advance copy of Steve Jobs' new wonderphone, pulls out the device to show to Laurie from Fox News. And an unidentified man in a baseball hat reaches in to grab — not the precious iPhone — but the TV reporter's microphone. Steven Levy tells us: "The reporter was very cool and as soon as she could redid the interview. We were quickly surrounded by a group of people who generated a wave of intense insecurity in me. Showing iPhone around there is like tossing Ringo Starr into a 1964 pile of beatlemanics." After the jump, the clip.
