Jim Paratore—founder of TMZ and creators of hit talk shows "Ellen" and "Rosie"— died from a heart attack yesterday while on a bike trip in France. The President of Telepictures was 58-years-old.

Additionally, Paratore helmed the launch of the long-lived entertainment magazine show "Extra," and owned a production company, the Warner Brothers TV Group-based paraMedia. Paratore's latest project, daily interactive game show Let's Ask America, was just announced last week.
