Courtney Stodden might be meat for the tabloids—but she doesn’t eat the stuff herself. The 18-year-old Tacoma-born chanteuse, who famously married actor Doug Hutchison two years ago, when he was 51, has been through raging controversy, Couples Therapy—the show, that is—and a lingering aversion to dead animals. In July, she emerged in a faux-lettuce bikini at a PETA veggie-dog giveaway, where she extolled the joys of letting the critters live so they can roam God’s great, green planet in peace.
Courtney Stodden and her husband Doug Hutchison made their reality TV debut last night via the second season of VH1's Couples Therapy. Alongside the likes of The Real Housewives of New York's Alex McCord and Simon van Kempen, Jodeci's JoJo and his non-famous wife, and that douchebag who runs The Dirty (whose own wife and daughter of Lorenzo Lamas, Shayne Lamas, thinks is a douchebag), Courtney and Doug will attempt to hammer out their differences...well, most of them except the difference that is responsible for their notoriety: the 35 years that separate them.
So it turns out the reality show Courtney Stodden is shooting over the next three weeks isn't a self-titled televised tell-all: According to TMZ, the teen bride and her 52-year-old husband Doug Hutchison have joined VH1's Couples Therapy in the hopes of finding help for their "major" marital problems.
Here is a photoshoot from
the set of Mom and the Real Girl Courtney Stodden's kitchen, where she and mom Krista Keller celebrated Mother's Day early. Nothing satisfies the sacred and sometimes sexy bond between mother and daughter like getting your silky hands sticky with some sinful strawberry shortcake.
PETA's new campaign features the Mistress of Shellack and her aptly named pooch Bizarre, whom she "saturates with love." The Dutchess of Acrylic waxes on about the joys of a meat-free life, describing her first Thanksgiving "with being a vegetarian." Stodden, appearing sans wilted husband Doug Hutchison, then informs us that the best way to save the animals is not to eat them.
The freakshow oddity of Hollywood child bride Courtney Stodden and creepy actor husband Doug Hutchison has gone too far. Today, professional concern troll Dr. Drew subjected Courtney to televised breast examination. The goal: To prove scientifically whether or not her breasts are real.
