Dermatologist/socialite Lisa Airan didn't snag a mention in New York's cover story on facial plastic surgery a couple of weeks ago, but when the mainstream media shuts you out, you can always deliver the message straight to the people. Airan just uploaded her reel of media appearances to YouTube, a useful reminder that she speaks to a reporter every other day, on average. Follow along as Airan explains why she's not concerned about the economy: Her patients are so high-end, she says, they can afford to keep Botoxing no matter what. We're not sure just how many high-end prospects are trolling YouTube to find their next doctor (especially since so many of the existing videos are by cosmetic docs in third world countries) but judge for yourself after the jump.

Fabiola Beracasa, Zani Gugelman, Allison Sarofim, Robbie Myers, Joe Zee, and Olivia Chantecaille wore Roman-inspired outfits, while Tatum O'Neal had everyone wondering what was in her glass. [Elle]
Naomi Campbell turns 38 today. Do be careful when she celebrates the big event in Cannes tomorrow eve: The Dolce & Gabbana-sponsored fete will feature Lindsay Lohan on the turntables. Other birthdays today: Fashion publicist Nathan Ellis is 34. Would-be Coney Island developer Joseph Sitt is 54. Artist Ghada Amer is 45. And the very youthful looking cosmetic dermatologist Lisa Airan—who says she's never gone under the knife herself—turns 43 today.
Dr. Lisa Airan may not be the best dermatologist in town but she's the most social, that's for sure. When she's not busy Botoxing the living flesh out of any and all of New York's famous faces, she's busy making glamorous red carpet appearances and shooting spreads for magazines like Vogue, InStyle, and appearing on Oprah.
